This weekend was the first time I visited Vienna and I couldn’t have chosen a better time to see it. I love Christmas and Vienna in Christmas time is a wonder.
The beautiful lights and all the Christmas trees make for a very festive Viennese look of the city. We took a guided tour on foot through the streets and we admired everything while finding out about the history of Vienna.
Moreover, Vienna is filled with Christmas markets. I love Christmas markets with their mulled wine, tasty food and beautiful decorations. Here, you can find one in every square or near every important landmark.
All in all, I loved Vienna and can’t wait to return there and visit it in my own time. I would really love spending more then just an evening here in order to be able to see more landmarks and to taste the notorious schnitzel.
