I didn’t know much about kinetic art or horological machines until yesterday. I can say the only thing I knew it was that there is something about it that always captures my attention. This was not my first encounter with kinetic art, but I could say it was at the M.A.D Gallery in Geneva that we were introduced.
I had the chance to visit the MB&F M.A.D. Gallery in Geneva mainly because Andrei, who also writes for the Watch I Love Magazine, wanted to photograph the Horological Machine No. 9 ‘Flow’.
As I stepped inside I was teleported in another world, a world where objects have life and move, all just to please our human eye. I didn’t just see lifeless mechanical machines there, but true
‘The MB&F M.A.D. Gallery is a captivating universe of kinetic art where Horological Machines and Mechanical Art Devices reign supreme.’ I think this sentence used to describe this place by its creators says it all.
It is definitely a place you should visit on your trip to Geneva. You can find more information about the Gallery here.
Until next week!
Yours,
Diana
